Dry Dive October 2026

In October 2026, Seven club members visited the Midlands recompression chamber at Rugby Hospital and experienced a 40 meter dry dive.

The experience demonstrated the effects of compression on the body. Effects of narcosis. Giving us all a squeaky voice just like the Haribo advert. Demonstrating how they treat DCI with the use of different gases for recompression using RNT tables.

Thank you to the chamber staff who gave up their time to enable this to happen.

Well worth a trip for the experience and knowledge you come away with.
