BSAC Membership

£78.50* per year for adults, £47.00 per year for minors or students, you do get a good discount if you join our club.

Membership of BSAC includes a monthly magazine - SCUBA, and third party insurance. 

*Fee is reduced for two people living at the same address and sharing the monthly BSAC magazine and manuals. Redditch SAC has a common renewal date of 1st March, depending on when you join, you may not pay the full amount in the first year 

Redditch Sub Aqua Club Membership

£180 per year for adults. £140 per year for minors or students (minimum age 14 years old)

Membership of Redditch SAC includes free use of the swimming pool every Tuesday from 8.30 to 9.30pm, training by qualified club instructors, use of club equipment and boat. Direct family members can also use the pool during the Tuesday session. It may be possible to pay this subscription in stages by arrangement with approval of the committee. 

Pool Training

The club provides a set of SCUBA gear for pool training at no cost (subject to availability),

You must provide your own fins and face mask. A charge of £2 per session is made for use of air. When training moves outdoors (open water) a charge will be made for kit hire to cover the cost of servicing.  Air fills are free at some dive shops. Other shops and dive sites can charge £3 - £5 for air fills.

​On completion of pool training you will need to buy or hire a dry suit for the open water sessions.

Once qualified you will need to get your own gear. Second hand kit is sometimes available through the club and always on Ebay.  Costs vary from a few hundred pounds second hand or up to two thousand or more for top flight new gear.
